Week 4: The Lemon You Never Asked For

Life has a way of handing us lemons we never ordered.

A job loss. A broken relationship. A health scare. A dream that didn't work out. A door that unexpectedly closed.

Our first reaction is often to ask, "Why me?"

But what if the better question is...

"What can I learn from this?"

I've learned that some of the greatest blessings in my life didn't begin as blessings. They began as disappointments.

There were moments I wanted to quit. Moments when I questioned my purpose. Moments when I couldn't understand why things weren't happening the way I had planned.

Looking back, I can now see that those lemons were preparing me for something greater.

Every challenge taught me patience.

Every setback built my faith.

Every obstacle made me stronger.

Sometimes God doesn't remove the lemons because He's teaching us how to make lemonade.

Today, I encourage you not to focus on what you've lost. Focus on what you're becoming.

Your current situation is not your final destination.

Keep believing.

Keep growing.

Keep trusting.

One day you'll look back and realize that the very thing you thought would break you became the reason someone else found hope.

That's how lemonade is made.

🍋 Lemon Challenge of the Week

Write down one challenge you're facing today.

Then answer these questions:

  • What is this challenge teaching me?

  • How can I grow because of it?

  • Who might I encourage one day because I walked through this?

Sometimes the lemonade isn't in changing your circumstances.

Sometimes it's in changing your perspective.

Interesting challenge you have issued. It's one that takes a lot of self talk and reflection to answer honestly. It's that honesty that will lead to a change. How many of us are willing to be that honest with ourselves. Well, you can't walk on water unless you get out of the boat.

This is a great way to look at this, sometimes we have to get up and get going in order to make something happen and geting out of the boat is the best way tp start!!!!!!!
